exclamation points

I get a little annoyed when I see someone using too many exclamation points when they write.

I think to myself : a) this person is 8 years old and paints their fingernails all different colors or b) they truly are that excited that they have to use an exclamation point at the end of every sentence, sometimes even three or four in a row.

I just realized...I'm that person [exclamation point]

Gross. Slap me.
